African Jade is a stone mostly found in South Africa. It is a common name used to describe this beautiful dark green gemstone, almost like a jade for them, hence the name African Jade.
 
The accurate name is Green Garnet, belonging to the Garnet family, is a naturally-formed gemstone. It comes in a darker based gemstone with hints of lighter Green Garnet for this pair of earrings.
